NEET UG exam is a requirement for MBBS admission in Uttar Pradesh.

There are around 70 medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

The candidate must pass the NEET UG exam to be eligible for counselling in UP. Candidates from the General category must secure a minimum of 50% marks, while those from the SC/ST categories require at least 40%. For Physically Handicapped candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is mandatory.
